After a long hiatus, Maryland Ice Hockey is back as they take on the Stevenson Mustangs for a weekend home and home series.

The Terrapins will play at home for Fridayโ€™s game (10/15) and will travel to Stevenson for Sundayโ€™s game (10/17). Friday will be played at the Gardens Ice House at 9:00 p.m. and Sunday will be at the Reisterstown Sportsplex in Reisterstown, Maryland at 6:45 p.m.

Marylandโ€™s last game was a 3-2 loss to Georgetown three weeks ago that put them in an unfavorable 0-2 hole to start the season. The team will look to use their long break from games as a fresh start this weekend.

Stevenson defeated Georgetown 4-1 in their first game but then lost to NC State 12-0 and UNC Wilmington 7-1. They were supposed to play Georgetown again last weekend, but that game was canceled due to COVID-19 protocols.

The Mustangs have a short roster this year, so the Terps will look to wear them out and use their numbers as an advantage. Maryland will face some stiff competition in the coming weeks, so gaining positive momentum is a key factor as they move down the stretch.
