Joe returns for his eighth season with the University of Maryland. Joe holds a Level 4 USA Hockey coaching certification and has 12 years of ACHA coaching experience. The Terps have been competitive in the Southeast region every year since he joined the team and qualified for the Regional tournament in 2017-2018. Before leading Maryland, Joe served four years as an Assistant Coach for American University, guiding the Eagles to back-to-back Mason Dixon League championships in 2012 and 2013. He grew up playing hockey in Elk River, Minnesota and played five seasons of ACHA hockey for the University of Minnesota and American University. When heโs not behind the bench, Joe works as an attorney for the federal government and he remains active in several adult hockey leagues in the Washington, DC area.
Brennen comes back for his seventh year with the University of Maryland program. Brennen served as the head coach of the DIII team from 2016 - 2018 before joining the DII team. Prior to Maryland, Brennen played collegiate hockey at Ithaca College, competing in the NECHL of ACHA's Division I. He is a born-and-raised Marylander who also serves as head coach of the Tucker Road Ducks organization, in addition to working as a Digital Marketing Strategist.
Will is entering his fourth season with the program and primarily works with the team's defenseman. A native Long Islander, Will played collegiately at the DII ACHA level with The University of Scranton. He currently works in Account Management for a software firm based near College Park, and enjoys golfing in his free time.
Adam is entering his second year as Goalie Coach after spending 3 years playing on the DII team. He spent most of his youth hockey career playing with the Naval Academy and won two state championships in High School. He began volunteer coaching for multiple local youth teams in the area while playing at the University of Maryland, and was a volunteer goalie coach for the Tri-City Eagles in 2020-2021. Adam works as an Oil Geologist for the Maryland Department of the Environment.
