Maryland will compete in the ACC Showcase this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Nov. 12-14). Opponents include George Washington, Virginia Tech, and Georgetown. All three games will be at the St. James Sports Complex in Springfield, VA.

Marylandโ€™s first matchup will be against George Washington. The game is at 4:30 on Friday. Entering the weekend, GWU is sitting atop the Capitol division in the ACCHL at 3-0.

The GW Colonials use the St. James as their regular home rink and have also played at Capital One Arena once this season. They defeated St. Joeโ€™s in their last game 8-3 and had goals from 8 different skaters.

On Saturday, the Terps will play Virginia Tech for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop. The Hokies, just like George Washington, are an undefeated first place team in their division.

Virginia Tech was a former foe of Maryland in the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Hockey Association. The two will reignite their old rivalry in the middle match of this weekend.

Right below George Washington in the Capitol division is Georgetown, who Maryland will play on Sunday. This one is scheduled for 5:20 p.m. and is the last of the three-game showcase for the Terps.

Maryland lost to the Hoyas in their second game of the season by a score of 3-2, which was played back on September 25.

Come out and rock the St. James in support of the Terps this weekend! If you cannot make it in person, be sure to check out Maryland Hockey Network on YouTube where live broadcasts will be streamed.
